I am a novice working with LimeSurvey 1.80RC1 (Build 5885).

I have made a 2 scale multiple options question X with answer-options "a" and "b".

(in the attached file: question 00141 from the second group named in Bulgarian " Informacia za firmata". The question in short is: "How do you want to contact you" - with answers "by e-mail" and "by phone" ).

Then I created two questions (A and B ), each of which was supposed to appear in different cases. "A"-question had to appear in case the answer "a" (from X-question) was chosen. "B"-question had to appear in case the answer "b" (from X-question) was chosen.

(in the attached file: question A is 0019, B - 0022; from the last group named in Bulgarian "Kontaktna informacia". Questions A is "What is your E-MAIL address?", question B is "What is your TELEPHONE number?" )

In "Set conditions for this question" section I have set condition for question "A" only to be shown if X's answer is equal to "a".
In the test survey everything was all right.

Then in the same way I have set condition for question "B" only to be shown if X's answer is equal to "b".
Unfortunately during the test survey this condition doesn't work.

I have tried a lot of changes to do, including to change the structure of X-question, but it doesn't help. Using "Array flexible labels" (with yes and no additional labels) the situation is the same.

Would you please advise me how to set these questions?

Can you please check if this error occurs at all survey modes (all-in-one, group-by-group, question-by-question)?

Please open a ticket at the bugtracker and give as much information as possible and also attach your survey. You can mark your ticket "private" so that only the developers will be able to take a look at it.

Afterwards please post the link to the bugtracker so we can follow the progress.

I want to mention, that I imported your survey into my 1.80RC2 and it does as aspected...

The only thing is, that the email question does not appear on the last position, like the telephon on, it appears 3 questions before... if i choose both (there were checkboxes), both questions show up, if I choose none of them, nothing shows up...

maybe this is a bug with RC1 which is solved with RC2 or: you just overseen one of the questions, because they does not appear at the same place (what is not a bug, just your survey structure is like that)

I have tried to reproduce the situation in one group (by now the "primary" question and the "secondary" questions have been in different groups), but the problem still exists.
Also I am sure the error is not caused by the content or the structure of the "secondary" questions, as it occures regardless if I will put in first place question A or B, the conditions just do not work for the second (in number) question.

Rakete (a Lime user) has kindly reproduce my survey into his 1.80RC2 version and said everything is right. But unfortuately on my 1.80RC1 it really doesn't works properly.
If it is a bug in 1.80RC2 version, but does not exist in version 1.80RC2, am I supposed to open a ticket at the bugtracker?

Unfortuately on my 1.80RC1 the problem really exists. I have checked all questions carefully regardless their order.
