Dear All,
Can anyone tell me what rules are used for importing labelsets from csv, with regard to existing sets?
E.g.
Existing labelset with lid=1, title=Labelset1
a) import file has labelset with lid=1, title=Labelset1 and same labels
b) import file has labelset with lid=1, title=Labelset1 and different labels
c) import file has labelset with lid=1, title=Labelset2 and different labels
d) import file has survey with Q using lid=1, labelset with lid=1, title=Labelset1 and same labels
e) import file has survey with Q using lid=1, labelset with lid=2, title=Labelset2 and different labels
Do I always have to include the labelsets in a survey/group/question import file?
Can the import choose to use an existing labelset if the lid is the same?
TIA
Simon.

As soon as an existing matching label (label set has to be exactly the same except ID) set is found on import it will be used instead, no matter what ID the one from the survey had. The label set IDs from the importing survey are adjusted accordingly.

Thanks Carsten...
So an existing labelset will never be overwritten?
Subsequently, I suppose there is no way to replace the contents of labelset by import? An example could be if a set of 50 needs changing and you have 50 (inactive of course) surveys where the labelset is used 50 times.. It could happen!
