Hello everyone,

A weird thing happened to me when I imported a survey csv file: the answers labels of a few questions (which all use the same label set) has changed in the transfer.

What I did exactly was this: 1. I saved a survey in CSV (from a 1.72 version of Lime) 2. I imported it in another mySQl base of another site using 1.72 version, which contained nothing yet but Limesurvey structure. 3. Made little changes in the imported survey (like questions labels)4. Re-saved it in CSV. 5. Imported it 6 times in the same base, cause I wanted 6 different links for my survey.

And this morning, I found out that answer labels was different for a few question in my 6 copies... (I have to fix them manually, cause I already sent the survey URL link, and I don't want it to change)

Does anyone have a clue to explain this? I know that id of most thing change when one import them...

I'm just felling a little paranoid!!

Which program did you use to make changes to the csv file? When using Excel this might cause problems because Excel changes the internal data structure which may lead to problems.

Can you reproduce the problem when not editing the files? If so please open a ticket at the bugtracker and give as much information as possible and also attach your survey. You can mark your ticket "private" so that only the developers will be able to take a look at it.

Afterwards please post the link to the bugtracker so we can follow the progress.
