I have a very simple "petition" using 5 questions.
The first is a Yes/No radio - mandatory=no

The others don't proceeed unless the answer is Yes.

The other 4 are simple short text inputs.

On Submit, I keep getting the "One or more questions have not been answered in a valid manner....." Clicking OK, and we're taken back to the survey where the statement "This question must be answered correctly ()" {in red} is shown right above the first question (Yes/No) radio response.

The question is set as follows:

Code: 0001: (Mandatory Question)
Question: I have read the .........
Help:
Validation: Yes
Type: Yes/No
Mandatory: Yes
Other questions having conditions on this question: [QID: 6]

Can you see what is wrong here? Is it the settings? I will pass off access to anyone willing to take a look. There just doesn't seem to be an obvious reason whay this simple 'survey' won't work - but I bet there is a really simple reason

Version 1.71+ (5326)

That is a pretty old build.
Please update to the latest version (that is build 5638)
Most probably its a bug already fixed.
If the bug persists after update (be sure to re-set the conditions) please file a bug report and we will take care of it.

Wow! I just installed it about a month ago. The problem with the Limesurvey web site is that the downloads just says 1.71 and not what the build number is. So I get this right, I install this again, fight with SQL to get a database, user id, and Tables installed and start all over?

Hi, FYI there is normally a new LimeSurvey release every monday.

@ Upgrade: just follow the install instructions of the release note! An upgrade is quite easy and takes just some minutes!

Well, I got it installed, and still get the same problem.

Try it. Click here, then click on "Petition". I welcome any other suggestions that will fix this.

OK, I'll figure out how and where and file a bug report, but, did you look at it as I suggested?

I used the older version before and created a much more complex survey and it worked just fine. This is a simple Yes or No and if that is a bug, then everyone should have the same problem - but don't. So, I doubt it's a bug. It's probably something in how it was made i.e., author's mistake (mine in how I set it up)

I need to have this ready for a opening on Monday - should I assume from your helpful comment (file a report) that it will be much longer?
